SYARIKAT SEMAIAN & PENTERNAK KUALA LUMPUR, the business was founded by the brothers Mr. Yee Kon Yon and Mr. Yee Kon Sang in the 1960s. With a humble beginning, the business named Nelson & Nelsons was trading (van sales) company that sells mostly sundry products and agrochemical items. Over the years, it seems that the Yee brothers have more prospects in agrochemical products and it is getting better and better. In the year 1978, the Yee brothers renamed it to K&L AGRICULTURE SEEDS CO (Syarikat Semaian & Penternak Kuala Lumpur) till today.

Since 1960, we experienced several financial crises and challenges from the market but we still firmly stood by our principal which is “people should have enough, balance and multiple choice of foods on their dining table”. Company started by selling ants’ powder, vegetable seeds, and some weed killer. Today our business is mainly supplying all these agrochemical products and vegetable seeds to agrochemical shops and hardware shops in the whole of Malaysia.

Around 1980s, our founder Mr Yee expanded the company production to the household consumer market for fertilizer, seed and etc. we also produce “Etrolin” which is a revolutionary product in the rubber industry. Etrolin and Etrolin Plus are kind of hormone product which effectively yield extra rubbers from rubbers trees and at the same time extend their production life. It can also increase the fertility of rubber trees, treat and prevent rubber trees from diseases. Etrolin is very well known among rubber tappers because price advantages is one of the reasons. It is also one of the star products in our company. Today, we still export Etrolin to Indonesia, Thailand and some South East Asia countries which still demand it.

Today, we mainly focus on wholesale to agricultural, nursery and hardware shops in Malaysia. Since 2008, our fertilizer products have been on the shelf of supermarket, mall, minimarket and chain stores. Even so, we still invest in researching toxic-free and organic agrochemical products to provide more and better choices for our valued customers. Moreover, consumers can also make purchases of our products through online platforms.
